McEntee Construction has steadfastly designed and installed countless pools, patios, retaining walls and other hardscape features throughout our three-plus decades in the business. At a recent project for a Ramsey home, we transformed the backyard with a beautiful gunite pool and coordinating hardscape design.
The Client’s Needs
The homeowners wanted to create a custom yard and pool where their children and grandchildren could lounge and enjoy themselves. They presented us with a few concept options, then we offered some ideas and crafted the entire design.
The Pool and Spa
We built a gunite concrete pool with a vivid, bright blue finish. The shallow end of this pool has room for lounge chairs and also features steps heading down into the deeper waters. There is also an attached spa that spills over into the pool. The spa is a relaxing addition to this backyard oasis with its stress-relieving temperatures and tranquil running water sounds.
Gunite pools are incredibly durable and don’t need any kind of liner. So, they age well and retain shape over time.
Patio and Walkway
An inviting stone walkway leads to you the new outdoor living and entertainment space. The coping stunningly frames the shaped pool and the patio provides plenty of room for relaxing and entertaining.
The sloping elevation required a retaining wall. We made sure the walls design seamlessly blended with the spa and the hardscape features, as well as included ambient outdoor lighting so you can safely enjoy the pool after the sun goes down.
To enhance the gazebo, we designed and installed a back stone wall. It grounds the structure and adds another element of texture.
Details aren’t just the finishing touches; for McEntee Construction, they’re what individualize and uplift a product. We helped with material and color selections for this entire project. To top it all off, we made a bespoke bench adorned with fresh planters to accentuate the yard.
